Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are a type of outpatient program that provides structured and intensive treatment for individuals struggling with mental health disorders or substance use disorder. These programs offer a higher level of care than traditional outpatient care, but do not require patients to stay overnight in a treatment facility. Our program is tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual, providing them with the support and resources they need to manage their symptoms and work towards long-term recovery.

What is a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)?

Partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) are a type of outpatient treatment program that provides structured and intensive care for individuals struggling with mental health disorders or substance use disorder. These programs offer a higher level of support than traditional outpatient care, but do not require patients to stay overnight in a treatment facility. Instead, individuals attend treatment sessions during the day and return home in the evenings.

PHPs typically involve a combination of individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, and other evidence-based interventions to address the specific needs of each patient. This type of program can be an effective option for individuals who require more support than traditional outpatient care but do not need 24-hour supervision as in residential treatment.

What a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Can Do For Mental Health Disorders

Partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) can be highly beneficial for individuals struggling with mental health disorders. These programs offer a higher level of support and structure than traditional outpatient care, allowing individuals to receive intensive treatment while still maintaining their daily responsibilities. Through individual therapy, group therapy, and other evidence-based interventions, PHPs help individuals learn coping skills and manage their symptoms more effectively. PHPs also provide a sense of community and accountability, which can be crucial in maintaining long-term recovery from mental health disorders. Our PHP at Recovery Ways Idaho is designed to meet the specific needs of each individual, providing them with comprehensive and personalized care to improve their overall well-being.
