At Recovery Ways Idaho, we are proud to offer a peer support program as part of our comprehensive treatment services. Our peer support program is designed to provide additional support and guidance to clients as they work towards recovery and rebuilding their lives.
What is Peer Support?
Through this program, clients have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a certified peer specialist who has personal experience with addiction and mental health challenges. These specialists serve as a mentor, role model, and source of support for clients as they navigate their own journey towards recovery. Peer support is an invaluable aspect of our treatment approach, as it allows individuals to connect with someone who truly understands their struggles and can provide guidance from a place of shared experience.
Our peer support program helps to create a sense of community and understanding among our clients, promoting a supportive and safe environment for healing and growth. Additionally, the relationships formed through peer support often extend beyond treatment, providing ongoing support and connection even after leaving our program. At Recovery Ways Idaho, our outpatient programs are designed with the whole person in mind, to address all aspects of well-being. Utilizing person-centered holistic approaches, our team of Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers can help address issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, family problems, and grief in a caring and compassionate manner tailored to the patient’s needs.
Recovery Ways Idaho also offers in-clinic medication management with our provider, who is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), and is currently in training to be certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health NursePractitioner (PMHNP). Through collaboration with primary therapists, individuals engaging in medication management receive a tailored treatment plan that encompasses all aspects of their life experiences.
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is led by clinicians with over thirty years of combined experience in treating mental health concerns. This program includes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), life skills training, and community building to assist patients in reaching their ultimate potential in their day-to-day lives. Our program runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2 PM-5 PM with medication management available on-site to ensure continuity of care and direct collaboration with the care team.
